Banking, Payments & Financial Infrastructure

Helping fintechs, community banks, and SMB-focused organizations navigate payments, lending, commercialization, and customer growth initiatives

About BizSB Advisory

BizSB Advisory was founded to bridge the gap between traditional banking experience and the rapidly evolving world of fintech, payments, lending, and financial infrastructure.

Founder Sudhir Bhargava brings more than two decades of experience across SMB lending, commercial banking, fintech partnerships, payments, and emerging financial technologies in both Australia and the United States.

Sudhir began his business banking career in Sydney with National Australia Bank before relocating to New York, where he served as Vice President, Business Banking at both HSBC and JPMorgan Chase. Over more than a decade in relationship management and commercial lending, he worked closely with small and medium-sized businesses across lending, credit, growth strategy, and financial solutions.

In 2018, Sudhir made a deliberate career pivot to study web development, UX design and modern digital technologies through the Harvard Extension School, completing a Graduate Certificate in Web Development with a 3.75 GPA. That transition reflected a broader interest in how financial services, payments, software, and emerging technologies were reshaping the future of banking and commerce.

Since then, his experience has spanned fintech partnerships, SMB lending ecosystems, payments operations, digital assets, startup advisory, and business development.

At NYC Business Solutions, Sudhir helped facilitate more than $12.5 million in SMB funding across 147 loans in partnership with community lenders, credit unions, CDFIs, and banks — significantly exceeding program targets while supporting entrepreneurs and underserved businesses navigating growth and access to capital.

Additional experience includes payments and merchant services at Xplor Technologies, digital asset and blockchain partnership development with LATOKEN, and payments relationship management at Fiserv supporting banking partnerships.

Today, BizSB Advisory focuses selectively on advisory work across:

The firm’s perspective is grounded not only in strategy, but also in operational reality — combining large-bank discipline, fintech adaptability, relationship management, and customer-facing experience across evolving financial ecosystems.

BizSB Advisory areas of focus

BizSB Advisory provides selective advisory support across banking, payments, lending, commercialization, and emerging financial infrastructure.

The firm works at the intersection of traditional financial services experience and modern fintech evolution — helping organizations navigate growth, partnerships, operational challenges, and customer-facing financial ecosystems.

SMB Banking & Lending

Advisory support across small business banking, commercial lending, relationship management, and credit ecosystems.

This includes experience in SMB portfolio management, credit assessment, lending workflows, and helping businesses understand how to position themselves for financing through banks, community lenders, credit unions, and CDFIs.

A key element of this work is supporting organizations and founders in navigating access to capital and aligning with appropriate financial partners and structures.

Payments & Embedded Finance

Support for organizations navigating modern payments infrastructure, merchant services, embedded finance opportunities, and customer payment experiences.

This includes exposure to payment processing environments, merchant acquiring, and modern fintech-payment integrations, as well as understanding how payment experiences influence customer engagement and revenue flow.

Revenue Operations

Advisory support focused on the operational side of revenue generation, transaction flows, and payment-enabled business models.

This includes experience working with POS ecosystems (such as Clover at Fiserv), understanding merchant transaction lifecycles, and connecting payment systems to broader business performance.

The focus is on how revenue is captured, processed, reconciled, and optimized across digital and physical commerce environments — particularly in SMB and mid-market contexts.

Bank & Fintech Partnerships

Strategic and commercial advisory for organizations building relationships between financial institutions and fintech platforms.

This includes partnership development, ecosystem strategy, commercialization alignment, and support in structuring relationships that connect banking infrastructure with fintech innovation and customer-facing financial products.

Commercialization & Customer Growth

Advisory support across customer acquisition, relationship management, and revenue expansion strategies.

This blends large-bank relationship management experience with fintech and startup ecosystem exposure, focusing on how financial products reach customers, scale effectively, and sustain engagement over time.

Emerging Financial Infrastructure

Selective exposure to digital assets, blockchain ecosystems, fintech innovation, and evolving financial technologies.

The focus is on practical applications within financial systems, with an emphasis on infrastructure, payments evolution, and long-term shifts in how financial services are delivered and consumed.
